As of August 1, 2022 Project Missouri and 410 West agree to partnership to solidify the top boys and girls travel programs in Missouri.

We are excited to announce a new partnership between Project Missouri and 410 West, the premiere boys and girls travel programs in Missouri, both headquartered in St. Louis. This partnership effectively creates a club lacrosse pathway for both girls and boys family members of those already engaged with each program.

Since being founded in 2011 by Andy Kay, MICDS Head Varsity Coach, Project Missouri has dominated the Missouri lacrosse landscape by creating an incredibly rigorous and selective program focused on personal development. The recipe of ‘through lacrosse, we help young men become the best versions of themselves’, Project Missouri’s mission, has helped develop every Metro Player of the Year of the last decade, produce 50+ All-Americans, and establish the Project Missouri and Project Midwest brands on a national scale. The greater Project Missouri staff includes the largest coaching roster of varsity head coaches and collegiate coaches in the State, all working together to develop the next generation of athletes and people.

Likewise, since 410 West’s inception in 2015, Melissa Gyllenborg, Kate Haffenreffer and the rest of the 410 staff have been focused on developing the next generation of young women who succeed on the lacrosse field and in life. Prior to 410 West’s creation, there was a lack of coaching resources and commitment being attributed to the St. Louis girls club lacrosse lacrosse scene. Now with a strong foundation of NCAA and Varsity Head Coaches, 410 West has built a pipeline of player and personal development that supports girls in navigating the challenges of life and competition.

This partnership has been years in the making and is built on the ground laid in successful youth development programs run by both programs, often within earshot of one another. The partnership between 410 West and Project Missouri unify the two most successful club programs in the St. Louis and greater Missouri area, pooling resources to focus on the maturation of hard working young men and women in our communities. By working together, both programs can better serve those picking up a stick for the first time to tomorrow’s State Champions.

“410 West’s commitment to empowering young women is similar to our commitment to helping young men become the best version of themselves. This affiliation allows us to solidify a collaborative effort to advance our sport in our great community” – Andy Kay, Project Missouri founder.

“It is with great pleasure to announce our affiliation with Project Missouri.  ProMo and 410 West share the same values in mentoring our players, enhancing their skill, and promoting the game to all in the community.” – Melissa Gyllenborg, 410 West Owner & Director.
