Project St. Louis Girls Premier Lacrosse Teams
Building a new standard of excellence for girls lacrosse in Missouri.
Project Missouri Girls Lacrosse is here, redefining what’s possible for female athletes across the state. With elite coaching, competitive teams, and a commitment to character development, we're building more than just great lacrosse players—we're shaping leaders on and off the field.
The Same Standards. A New Legacy.
Why Project Missouri for Girls?
For years, Project Missouri has pushed the boys side of the game forward with proven player development, college exposure, and a national reputation for excellence. Now, we're bringing that same energy, structure, and ambition to the girls' game—led by St. Louis native and Division I standout Lauren Ottensmeyer.
Leadership That Inspires
A former All-American and one of Missouri’s all-time greats, Lauren Ottensmeyer brings elite experience and vision to Project Missouri. As Managing Director, she’s setting the standard for what girls lacrosse in St. Louis and Missouri can and will be.

The Selection Process
Project Missouri will host annual evaluations in the Fall and supplemental evaluations in early Spring in order to build our premier teams. We use the following criteria to select our players.
We look for multi-sport athletes who not only excel in lacrosse, but also other athletic endeavors.
Our players are expected to be active in their local communities and captains for their community lacrosse programs.
Not only should our players be committed to their teams, but also to using lacrosse as an integral part of their identity.
Elite team players bring an unmatched level of compete to all aspects of life, refusing to lose. This level of compete drives players to excel in the classroom, on the field, and in the boardroom.
The Elite Team player is expected to progress in a way that backs up their Project Missouri status by acquiring All-State awards during their high school careers. This is the culmination of their commitment to development, leadership, and their community.
